Following two strong seasons with Crystal Palace, the 21-year-old is also being pursued by Chelsea and Manchester City. Olise, who might cost up to £45 million, would follow Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber, and Kai Havertz as Arsenal’s fourth summer additions.

Mohammed Kudus, a playmaker valued at £40 million by Ajax and wanted by Chelsea, is another player on Mikel Arteta’s short list for a trade. The 21-year-old Ghanaian international scored 18 goals for his club last season and netted twice in Doha during the World Cup.

This summer, a lot of players might depart from the Emirates. Nicolas Pepe might be released after falling down the pecking order four years after his £72 million signing from Lille, while Thomas Partey is still rumoured to be moving to the Saudi Pro League.
