Arsenal have already signed Declan Rice from West Ham United in a British transfer record deal this summer. But it seems that they are not quite done with strengthening their midfield yet. Thuram is a prodigious talent with a massive future ahead of him and he has been linked with a number of top clubs, including Liverpool.
The 22-year-old could be tempted to join a bigger club this summer, and the opportunity to join a club like Arsenal could be an attractive proposition. Thuram has attributes to develop into a complete midfielder, and he could be the ideal partner for Declan Rice.
The French international will add a defensive cover to the side and he will help create goalscoring opportunities as well. It remains to be seen whether Arsenal follow up on their interest with a concrete proposal to sign the 22-year-old midfielder in the coming weeks.
Thuram will be hoping to compete at the highest level, and the opportunity to join clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United will be tempting for him. Both clubs will be playing in the UEFA Champions League next season.
