Chelsea’s pre-season preparations came to a close in the early stages of this morning as the side played out a 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund in the USA.
With that now over, the attention turns towards Liverpool on the opening day of the Premier League, with a new look side preparing for the clash at Stamford Bridge. A whole host of exits have already been completed, though moves are still being assessed for Hakim Ziyech and Romelu Lukaku.
In terms of incomings, a deal for Moises Caicedo appears to be dragging, but an agreement has been reached with Brighton for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez. Michael Olise is also on the side’s radar alongside the likes of Tyler Adams, Romeo Lavia and Kylian Mbappe in the coming weeks.
