THIA-GO? After Al-Hilal launched a £10 million transfer proposal, Liverpool may lose ANOTHER player to Saudi Arabia.

According to French news outlet L’Equipe, Al Ahli have submitted a £10million bid for the 32-year-old midfielder.

The Spanish international joined Liverpool in 2020 the year after they won the Premier League.

Since then he has made 67 appearances and won the FA Cup and the Community Shield.

Liverpool have already seen three key players leave Merseyside for Saudi Arabia including captain Jordan Henderson, Fabinho and Roberto Firmino.

Jurgen Klopp has voiced his frustrations on the Saudi transfer window closing three weeks later than Europe’s.

Klopp urged Fifa to look into Saudi Arabia’s closing date as he fears European leagues could still lose players at the start of the season with no time to replace them.

He said: “The influence of Saudi Arabia is massive at the moment.

“Pretty much the worst thing I think is that the transfer window in Saudi Arabia is open three weeks longer.

“Uefa or Fifa must find solutions for that.”

He’s no stranger to losing players to the Saudi Pro League .

Transfer guru Fabrizo Romano however claims Thiago is staying put for now.

The Spaniard has reportedly turned down several approaches from Saudi clubs this summer.
