Every Liverpool player available to play Bournemouth as two missing amid Wataru Endo wait

Every Liverpool player available to play against Bournemouth as Jürgen Klopp has two out but close to a return, as new signing Wataru Endo is unlikely to feature.

Liverpool returns to action in the Premier League on Saturday with a home game against Bournemouth at Anfield. The Reds kicked off their season with a creditable 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and, with competition as fierce as ever for a top finish, boss Jürgen Klopp will want all three points.

Liverpool generally has had a good record against The Cherries over the past several years, winning seven out of the last eight meetings in the Premier League.

Klopp started both of his new signings this summer — Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai — in midfield for the stalemate at Stamford Bridge. The pair of them are available for selection for Klopp, and the German has primarily a lot of options going into the second game of the season.

It appears unlikely that new signing Wataru Endo’s documents will be in order and processed by the Premier League for the player to feature against Bournemouth, so the Japanese midfielder may not feature until the fixture against Newcastle on August 27.

However, Klopp has ostensibly a full squad to choose from for Bournemouth. The German has reported no new injuries since the Chelsea game, though Curtis Jones did miss training earlier in the week. Thiago Alcântara and Stefan Bajčetić, both of whom have been injured since the back end of last season, remain sidelined. According to Klopp, the pair are ‘close’ to a return, but not quite there yet.

Tyler Morton is set to remain out on the sideline for some time as he continues to recover from a broken foot, which the youngster sustained in April during his loan spell with Blackburn Rovers. Morton is the only player technically injured, so there is a major plus for Klopp in the early stages of the campaign.

We are likely to see the same starting XI against Bournemouth that kicked off against Chelsea on the opening weekend.
