Manchester City are targeting the Belgian winger as a replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who left the club to move to Saudi Arabia earlier this summer. Doku has been made a priority it seems with the Premier League side now striking an agreement on personal terms with the player.

However, the clubs must now come to an agreement. Foot Mercato have reported that Rennes want €55m for Doku. The French publication adds that West Ham United are also in the race and have already submitted an offer. This has, however, been rejected. Talks between Manchester City are ongoing and will continue this week in order to find an agreement. Bruno Génésio was questioned about Doku’s future on Amazon Prime Video Sport on Sunday night, but he gave no answer.
