Stefan Bajcetic could reportedly be in the picture to start for Liverpool this weekend having not featured for the Reds all season.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the teenager is now Premier League ready having featured for Spain’s U-21s this international break, with Bajcetic finally fully fit having been out through injury.
The 18-year-old is regarded by many as one of Liverpool’s most exciting youth prospects having broken through into Jurgen Klopp’s plans last season.
And as a natural no. 6, Bajcetic could now be expected to start for Liverpool in upcoming fixtures after this summer’s sale of Fabinho and club captain Jordan Henderson.
Hailed by Klopp as a ‘super-talented’ player, Bajcetic is easily one of the most promising midfield talents in all of Europe, and minutes in the senior squad soon could hint at the role the teenager will play this season.
Indeed, Bajcetic could have easily played more for Liverpool last season had the youngster been fit enough. And this update seemingly shows that something big is in the pipeline for the Spaniard.
Klopp took quite a risk last season in giving Bajcetic his first full start and minutes for Liverpool, yet the decision proved to be an excellent one.
And this season could now see Bajcetic take his career to another new level, with the midfielder a prospect who could go far with the Reds.
With UEFA Europa League football on the agenda, as well, Bajcetic has the potential to make a real name for himself this season, with the 18-year-old having the potential to become a superstar.
