Pep Guardiola says he ‘has a feeling’ that his Manchester City side are in the mood to go on and win the Premier League title.
City have now dropped points in three successive league games after conceding a 90th-minute equaliser against Spurs on Sunday. A header from Dejan Kulusevski denied Guardiola’s side victory in a breathless six-goal thriller at the Etihad Stadium.
Liverpool also drew at the Etihad last month, while Chelsea and City could not be split in a gripping eight-goal thriller before the November international break. Guardiola’s side, who face Aston Villa on Wednesday, are currently three points behind leaders Arsenal in the table.
But Guardiola, speaking on Tuesday afternoon, predicted that City are on course to win an unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League title.
He said: “The motivation is to do it better… I learned from where I come from that if you want to win, you have to do it better than the opponent.
We have to do much better. We have to try and not concede chances or goals. My feeling today is we will win the Premier League.
