Spurs confirm Werner, Chelsea exit imminent, Onana latest as Man Utd rival Arsenal

The January transfer window is in full swing and Timo Werner looks set to return to the Premier League, Arsenal's striker search continues and Kylian Mbappe is being linked with Real Madrid and Liverpool - something of interest to Mohamed Salah no doubt

The transfer window is now nine days old and we’re still waiting for that first Premier League deal that really kicks everything into gear.

Arsenal have made clear their desire to land a striker, but with Brentford holding out for huge money, their No.1 target, Ivan Toney, looks increasingly likely to stay put. Other targets include Everton midfielder Amadou Onana, who remains in high demand after impressing on Merseyside

North London rivals Tottenham are set to seal their own forward move on Tuesday however with ex-Chelsea striker Timo Werner returning to England on an initial loan move, while a move for Genoa defender Radu Dragusin continues to gather pace. Going in the opposite direction to Werner and returning to the Bundesliga looks set to be Jadon Sancho, the Manchester United misfit on the verge of a move to Borussia Dortmund.

Kylian Mbappe is doing that thing that no-one else can really do, as he keeps his cards close to his chest and makes PSG wait as Real Madrid president Florentino Perez salivates at the thought of taking him to the Bernabeu. Mbappe and Bellingham together? Woof.

With all that being said, keep up with the latest transfer news right here…
