Following injury issues, Jurgen Klopp confirms a triple Liverpool boost.

Jurgen Klopp is hopeful of having all of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Dominik Szoboszlai available for Liverpool’s Carabao Cup semi-final later this week.

The trio missed the comeback win at Anfield earlier this month and will not be in contention to face Bournemouth on Sunday.

Robertson has been missing since November after undergoing shoulder surgery following an injury picked up while away on international duty with Scotland.

Szoboszlai then limped out of the New Year’s Day win over Newcastle with a hamstring problem, while Alexander-Arnold sustained a knee issue during the FA Cup victory away at Arsenal.

Missing Mohamed Salah and Wataru Endo who are away on international duty, having the trio available would be a major boost.

The Reds could extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points on Sunday with a win on the south coast and are strong favourites to reach the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

Liverpool will take a 2-1 lead to Craven Cottage after Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo scored quick-fire goals at Anfield earlier this month, with Willian having given Fulham an early lead.

The injuries are all positive, but not ready,” said Klopp on Friday.

“They [Alexander-Arnold, Robertson and Szoboszlai] are all going in the right direction but we will see when they can join first-team training. I don’t expect them for Bournemouth.

“I hope that nobody else will be out. After Bournemouth and maybe for Fulham how they do. Trent is close, Robertson close and Dom close. So all going in the right direction but for the weekend’s game, no.”
