Tottenham Hotspur confirmed yesterday that Ivan Perisic has left the club to join Hajduk Split on loan until the end of the season.
The Croatian had already entered the final six months of his contract, so this move, although officially a loan deal until the end of the campaign, confirms that his Spurs career is over. Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison have shown him some love on Instagram.

Ivan Perisic joined Tottenham from Inter Milan in the summer of 2022 on a free transfer.
The versatile Croatian was viewed as the perfect fit under Antonio Conte back then, and he produced some brilliant performances under the Italian.
After Conte and Stellini were both shown the door last year, it seemed like Perisic had no real future at Tottenham anymore. Reports claimed he wanted to leave too.
Ange Postecoglou did, however, give him opportunities off the bench at the start of the campaign, and Perisic looked good. Sadly, he suffered a serious knee injury in September and that has kept him out since.
Now, Perisic’s Tottenham career has come to an end, and after the 34-year-old completed his move to Hajduk Split yesterday, a few of his Spurs teammates showed him some love on Instagram.
Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski reacted with emojis under Perisic’s post, while Sergio Reguilon wrote: “Vamos!”
This was the best option for both Perisic and Tottenham
It really is a shame that Ivan Perisic got injured so early in the campaign. One can only wonder how much of an impact he could’ve had under Ange Postecoglou if he was fit over the last few months.
Perisic was initially expected to miss the rest of the season, but he thinks there is a chance he could be back in action in April.
However, that would’ve changed nothing for Tottenham, which is why Spurs agreed to let him go back home to Croatia and join Hajduk Split.
This is the best move for all parties involved.
