Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo could be an option for Liverpool in the summer
Liverpool were hugely impressed with the 26-year-old centre half in their Carabao Cup semi final at Craven Cottage last Wednesday. Tosin is out of contract in the summer and has already attracted interest from AC Milan as he is free to talk to overseas clubs.
The 6ft 5in defender was also on Tottenham ’s radar last summer and Liverpool want to bolster their defensive options. Even though Jurgen Klopp is leaving, a free transfer to replace the likes of Joel Matip is likely to appeal.
Fulham are happy to wait and see what develops and Tosin knows they want to keep him but he will have options as a free agent.
The Reds have allowed centre-back Nat Phillips to join Cardiff City on loan for the remainder of the season after the 26-year-old spent the first half of the campaign at Celtic.
Phillips has played 29 times for the Reds, including 20 appearances in the 2020-21 season when Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Matip all suffered serious injuries. He played only five times last term though, and appeared eight times for Celtic in the first half of this campaign.
Blackburn had also been hoping to snap up the defender, but he will now see out the rest of the campaign in south Wales.
The Reds have also loaned right-back Calvin Ramsay to Bolton after a less than fruitful first half of the season at Preston, where the Scot played just twice. Liverpool will hope the loan goes as well for Ramsay as it for right-back Conor Bradley, who won Bolton’s player of the year award last season after a stellar campaign and is currently impressing for the first-team.
