Manchester United were reportedly interested in signing Conor Bradley before he opted for a move to Liverpool in 2019.
That’s according to The Athletic, which claims that Man United were one of three Premier League sides who were scouting the 20-year-old.
Conor Bradley has made quite the impression for Liverpool in recent weeks.
The 20-year-old enjoyed an eye-catching debut at Bournemouth 11 days ago where he registered an assist.
Bradley has since provided four assists and bagged one goal in his last two games for Liverpool, with his first goal for the club coming against Chelsea last night.
And according to The Athletic, United were keen on signing the full-back before he made the switch to Anfield.
The outlet claims that Bradley officially joined Liverpool back in 2019 after making the switch from Dungannon United.
He had been training at the club’s Belfast centre of excellence since the age of nine and had plenty of admirers in England.
Indeed, it’s claimed that Manchester City, United and Chelsea all sent scouts to watch the Northern Irishman in action.
But Bradley always had his heart set on a move to Liverpool.
Bradley is already quickly becoming a fan-favourite at Anfield after a ‘magnificent’ start to life in the first team.

Liverpool have lacked another option at right-back in recent years, with Trent Alexander-Arnold being ever-present for the Reds.
With Trent working his way back from a knee injury, it will be intriguing to see just how long Bradley can keep the Englishman out at right-back.
Of course, Trent is undoubtedly one of Liverpool’s most influential players and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him move into a central role if Bradley continues to impress.
