Jurgen Klopp will not have the luxury of a full week’s preparation with his squad for the League Cup final against Chelsea later this month following another change to Liverpool’s growing fixture schedule.
The Reds’ Premier League clash at home to Luton Town will now take place on Wednesday, February 21 at 7.30pm – less than four days before their trip to Wembley, which kicks off at 3pm on Sunday, February
The game against Luton had initially been scheduled for the League Cup final weekend. Chelsea were due to play at Tottenham Hotspur in the league on Friday, February 23, with a new date for that fixture yet to be arranged.
