Jimmy Butler (personal reasons), Josh Richardson (dislocated right shoulder) and Terry Rozier (sprained right knee) are out for Miami against Milwaukee, while Duncan Robinson is questionable with a left shoulder/elbow.
Richardson, Rozier and Robinson apparently suffered injuries in the team’s February 11 loss against the Boston Celtics. Robinson may have been hurt in a tangle with Jaylen Brown, going so far as to call the Celtics’ game “dirty.”The Heat lost to the Celtics (without leading scorer Butler) by just four points, the team’s ninth loss in their last 13 games.
The Heat’s next opponent in Milwaukee has won two straight games and picked up the most impressive win of its short streak on Monday against the Denver Nuggets. Giannis Antetokounmpo dominated the Nuggets as he had 36 points, 18 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks in 30 minutes.Before beating the Nuggets at home, the Bucks had an easy home win over the Charlotte Hornets on February 9th.
The Bucks scored 36 and Charlotte was held to just 84 points as a team.With the Heat not playing in Tuesday’s game and without some key players, the Bucks’ chances to win seem stacked against the team.
After a scary matchup against the Bucks, the Heat will face another Eastern Conference heavyweight on Wednesday at the Philadelphia 76ers. Philadelphia has won its last two games, most recently defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers by two points on Monday..
