The New Orleans Saints will play in one of the more modern arenas in the game.
According to a report by Front Office Sports, the Saints will invest nearly $500 million to renovate the Caesars Superdome ahead of it’s 50th anniversary.
Of course, this major investment has little to do with the arena reaching half a century.
The Big Easy will host Super Bowl LIX next February, with the city tying the record for most Super Bowls hosted at 11.
Per the report, the renovations will include some new bathrooms, walkways, and escalators, among many other amenities.
The project was reportedly set to cost around $450 million upon its approval back in 2019, but they had to add an additional $50 million cost due to the COVID-19 pandemic and inflation.
