HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Members of the Huntsville community came downtown to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in good fashion Saturday morning.
In the 47th annual Ellen McAnelly Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade, folks were met with a plethora of festive entertainment.
“I’m expecting to have a good time,” said parade in goer Hailey Hicks. “Came with my roommates and some friends, so I’m excited to see the parade and what that entails.”
Hicks along with many others at the event were treated to celtic music, Irish dancers, a man dressed in shamrock attire on a penny-farthing bicycle, and so much more.
