Obviously, you know how I feel and everybody feels about (offensive-line) Coach (Jeff) Stout(land). He’s going to get the best out of these guys, and Tyler’s going to benefit from that coaching. And Tyler’s also going to benefit because he’s a really good player that we took in the third round, so excited about his development, some of the minutes that he got last year, and I think that he is a great option, and we’ll see what happens.”
A transfer from Vanderbilt, Steen played left tackle for Alabama in the 2022 season. After joining Philadelphia as the 65th selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, Steen played 71 offensive snaps as a rookie.
Steen got 62 of those in his lone NFL startas the right guard in a 28-23 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Nov. 5.
Philadelphia’s 2022 NFC championship team returned its offensive line except for right guard Isaac Seumalo, who left in free agency for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
