The Buccaneers have one of the largest squads in the PSL and more players are expected to leave the club this winter.
Orlando Pirates recently announced the signing of four players as they prepared for the upcoming season 2023-24 campaign.
The Soweto giants also released five players including Ndumiso Mabena who failed to make an impact after rejoining the club midway through the recent term.
GOAL compiled a list of six players who are most likely to be offloaded by the Buccaneers as they trim their squad.

Ben Motshwari
The experienced midfielder’s future with the Buccaneers is uncertain as his contract ended on Friday, but he is still training with the team.
Motswari fell out of favour following the arrival of coach Jose Riveiro last season – finding himself behind Goodman Mosele, Thabang Monare and Miguel Timm in the midfield pecking order.
It is time for the 32-year-old, who has been linked with AmaZulu FC, to move on and join a club that guarantees him regular game time having entered the twilight of career.

Bienvenu Eva Nga
The Cameroonian marksman started well at Pirates after joining the club from Chippa United last july before losing his place in the team with Terrence Dzvukamanja being preferred ahead of him.
The Buccaneers are known to be in the market for a new centre forward having missed out on new Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro and Bucs could look to offload Eva Nga.
The 30-year-old has been linked with Chippa and SuperSport United who are under the tutelage of Eva Nga’s ex-coach Gavin Hunt.

Kwem Peprah
The former Ghana under-23 international is back at Pirates after an unsuccessful loan stint at Maritzburg United where he scored once from 14 competitive games.
Maritzburg unsurprisingly decided against retaining Peprah who had joined the relegated club midway through the recent season having failed to impress Riveiro.
The bulky striker looks set to leave the Houghton-based giants once again with 12 months left on his deal with Bucs.

Evidence Makgopa
The tall frontman endured a poor debut season at Pirates as he struggled to cement his place in the team’s starting line-up.
With Boitumelo Radiopane set to return to the Soweto giants following a successful loan spell at Cape Town Spurs, Makgopa’s future with Bucs is uncertain.
Chippa United have been credited with an interest in Makgopa who needs regular game time at his age (23) in order to develop into a better player.

Fortune Makaringe
The 2022-23 season proved to be the East Rand-born attacking midfielder’s worst season since he joined Pirates in 2020.
Makaringe found it difficult to cement his place in the team’s starting line-up with the likes of Kabelo Dlamini and Relebohile Ratomo being preferred ahead of him.
The arrival of new signing Siphelo Baloni and returning loanee Azola Tshobeni could see the Buccaneers offload Makaringe.

Zakhele Lepasa
The Bafana Bafana international returns to Pirates after a short-term loan spell at SuperSport United where he showed glimpses of ability.
Lepasa has been loaned out midway through the season having failed to command a regular place in Riveiro’s team and he is unlikely to stay at the Houghton-based side.
SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews has confirmed that they will hold talks with Bucs about retaining Lepasa’s services ahead of the upcoming campaign
