BREAKING: Some of those players hit the transfer portal, some will follow for more…

Last season’s Kentucky roster was filled with outstanding basketball players whom Big Blue Nation loved.

Some of those players hit the transfer portal, some will follow John Calipari to Arkansas, and some will hope to hear their name called at the 2024 NBA Draft.

One player who hit the portal but didn’t follow Coach Calipari is Aaron Bradshaw. The seven-footer Bradshaw announced yesterday that he will finish his college basketball career at Ohio State.

Bradshaw averaged 4.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.3 assists, and 0.7 blocks per game for the Wildcats as a true freshman. An injury kept Bradshaw out of the lineup for a handful of games, which made it hard for him to practice ahead of the season.

The issue for Bradshaw was physicality last season. He was fine offensively, but some of the bigger centers in the SEC were able to push him around down low and score with ease. At Ohio State, the coaching staff will try to get some more muscle on his seven-foot frame, which will make it harder to move him.

Funny enough, next season, the Wildcats will face off with the Buckeyes of Ohio

State in the CBS Sports Classic.

In the 2023 CBS Sports Classic, Bradshaw had one of his best games of the season as the Wildcats took down the #9 North Carolina Tar Heels. Bradshaw scored 12 points, going 4-6 from the field, and made his only three-pointer.

Big Blue Nation loves Bradshaw and hopes to see him succeed at his next stop in Columbus.
