Message: I read your (recent) interview with David Bell, talking about his focus on building a team-first culture and balancing his job with family life. Then I saw the letter to the editor about Zac Taylor buying breakfast for a couple and thanking them for being Bengals fans. Could we have better gentlemen leading the Reds and Bengals?
Reply: I spoke to the Cincinnati Rotary Club early this year, and someone asked me what I thought of Bell and Taylor. I took the question as expecting me to respond with what type of manager/coach I think they are as it relates to on-field performance and wins and losses.
