The six 2024 draft picks of the New York Giants are expected to sign rookie contracts within the next day or two, given that rookie mini-camp workouts are scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
The process got underway on Thursday when running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., a fifth-round selection, signed his rookie contract.
Tracy spent four seasons as an Iowa wide receiver before moving to Purdue and switching to the position of running back.
Slotting is used in NFL rookie contracts. Tracy’s four-year contract is estimated to be worth $4.306 million, or $1.076 million on average each year. Tracy received a $286,352 signing bonus.
The remaining players in the Giants’ draft class are Malik Nabers, a first-round selection, and Theo Johnson in the fourth round, Tyler Nubin in the third, Andru Phillips in the third, and a sixth-round selection.
