At the age of 19, Lando Norris signed with McLaren after making an impression in the junior categories, making him the youngest-ever F1 driver from Britain. Today, he is well-known.
Lando Norris’s personal life is just as remarkable as his achievements in racing. The 24-year-old British-Belgian racer has been a consistent performer on the Formula 1 grid for years, and last week he finally delivered on his promise to McLaren that he would win for them. At the age of 19, Norris joined with the automotive behemoth and, after making an impression in the junior classes, became the youngest-ever British Formula One driver. Because of his father Adam’s excellent business profession, the young star has always been able to live a nice life away from the racetrack. His parents, Adam and Cisca Norris, were from Bristol. He was raised in Glastonbury, Somerset, and attended a nearby school, though he never received a diploma.
Now, he boasts a huge income and has a staggering net worth. He appeared on The Sunday Times Young Rich List for the first time in 2022 in joint-85th position, then worth £10million. That same year, his dad was ranked the 610th richest man in Britain with a net worth of £200m. Adam made his fortune from his financial services business Hargreaves Lansdowne.
Norris recently signed a mega-money contract with McLaren as they tied the Brit down to a four-year deal worth £80m, in a bid to ward off interest from rivals Red Bull. It ensures he is well compensated for his talent and the risk he takes every time he is strapped into the cockpit of his 1,000-horsepower racing machine.
His McLaren salary alone would be more than enough for a life of luxury, but on top of his F1 career, Norris has become a successful businessman in his own right. In November 2020, he launched his own gaming and lifestyle brand Quadrant which has become huge among his army of global fans.
Norris owns a £20m Surrey mansion but, like most F1 drivers, spends most of the time that he is not on the road living in Monaco. He previously denied wanting to move to the Principality and suggested he “would not enjoy” it as he would be away from family and friends in the UK – but he announced he had made the move to Monaco in November 2021.
According to 21 Motoring, Norris has an unsurprising collection of impressive McLaren supercars. He reportedly has the keys to a £248,800 McLaren 720S and £169,000 McLaren 570 GT.
For years now, there has been plenty of speculation about his love life. Norris dated Portuguese model Luisinha Oliveira from the start of 2022 but, later that year, he confirmed on social media that the relationship had ended. These days, he has been spotted cosying up to Margarida Corceiro, also a Portuguese model.
She is the ex-girlfriend of former Chelsea footballer Joao Felix, who now plays for Barcelona. A relationship with Norris is not confirmed, but they have been spotted together plenty of times including recently at the Monte Carlo Masters tennis tournament.
