The Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo-Jimmy Butler combination has led to three Eastern Conference finals berths and two NBA Finals appearances in five seasons. “This five-year window, we’ve been pretty successful,” Heat president Pat Riley said this week during his season-ending press conference. “We haven’t won the championship and I think that bothers everybody. But our organization is not about rebuilding. I’ll never use the word. We’ll re-tool as if we’re rebuilding to try to make it better.
