There is a difference between people who are, at least indirectly, associated with the Texas Longhorns and those who are not, according to Fox Sports commentator Joel Klatt. Specifically, the argument is around Texas’ nonexistent quarterback situation: do we trust redshirt junior Quinn Ewers or try out redshirt freshman Arch Manning? But this usually irritates Klatt to no end.
According to On3, Klatt remarked, “Every time I get asked about Texas by anybody that is not involved with the programme, they all talk about Arch.” “Every time I visit Texas and spend time with the programme, Quinn Ewers is the only topic of conversation.”
“Yes, I think it’s fascinating. Whenever someone inquires about Texas, they always ask, “So, when will Arch be ready?” I travel to Texas, where I speak with Quinn Ewers, Steve Sarkisian, and the players. Everybody there talks about Quinn Ewers when I speak with them. That’s all they discuss,” Klatt continued. “He is their man! I think that’s something that people should seriously consider. He will have a good chance of winning the Heisman Trophy. They will once again be among the top teams in the nation because of him.
