The Sooners hosted multiple talented prospects from across the country on Thursday, with a handful of players picking up scholarship offers.
Thursday marked the start of five sessions at this year’s Brent Venables Football Camp.
The five camp dates are a big recruiting event for Oklahoma, giving the Sooners’ coaching staff the opportunity to watch prospects they are interested in compete against other excellent talents. The camps also allow the coaches to coach these prospects firsthand and observe how they connect with the team’s personnel.
With two OU commits, a handful of guys with Sooner offers, and a few more who received offers following camp all in attendance, Thursday’s session will be filled with familiar faces.
