The Minnesota Wild have been wearing forest green and red for some time, and on Wednesday, rumors swirled that the team will be moving on shortly.
According to Icethetics, the Wild will purportedly transition to the Minnesota North Stars’ green, gold, and white colors in the 2025-26 season as part of a rebranding effort. The Wild had previously used North Stars colors for alternate jerseys, but this is the first time they have been mentioned as permanent replacements for Minnesota’s existing color scheme.
The North Stars were Minnesota’s former hockey team until they relocated to Dallas in 1993 to become the Dallas Stars. The Minnesota Wild debuted seven years later and has been the state’s hockey team ever since.
