The Minnesota Wild announced their preseason schedule this week. Not unexpectedly, they will play the Winnipeg Jets, Dallas Stars, and Chicago Blackhawks twice each. Fans are justifiably apprehensive after two years of playing the Jets and Stars. These clubs have suffered several injuries and egregious penalties, making for a difficult start to the season.

Fans are rightfully concerned, looking back at the past two years playing the Jets and Stars. Plenty of injuries and egregious penalties have occurred against these teams, and it’s a rough way to start off the season.
