Las Vegas — DaRon Holmes, the Denver Nuggets’ first-round pick, sustained a torn Achilles and is expected to miss the 2024-25 season, league sources revealed to ESPN.
Holmes received the injury during the Nuggets’ summer league opening against the Los Angeles Clippers, which ended 88-78. He left the Cox Pavilion on crutches.
