The Los Angeles Lakers lost every game of the California Classic, including two straight in Las Vegas to Houston (80:99) and Boston (74:88). However, the Lakers rebounded in their next two games, defeating Atlanta (87:86) and Cleveland (93:89).
The addition of Bronny James has had a significant impact on the Lakers’ advancement in the Summer League. LeBron’s kid has finally started to score in the previous two games, with 12 and 13 points against Atlanta and Cleveland, respectively.
The Bulls also have a colorful character in their lineup – 11th pick of the draft, Matas Buzelis. And so far, the Lithuanian guard has performed better than almost any other rookie in the Summer League. Buzelis is averaging 18.0 points and 2.2 steals per game in four games.
