After three seasons in the Major League Baseball, former Los Angeles Angels outfielder Monte Harrison committed to play wide receiver at the University of Arkansas on Tuesday.
Following his final season in Nashville and more than a decade away from football, the University of Alabama announced that Harrison will walk on as a wide receiver. Harrison will turn 29 in August, pending the start of the 2024-25 football season.
Harrison excelled in both football and baseball during his senior year at Lee’s Summit West High School. As a wide receiver, he caught 60 receptions for 1,007 yards and scored 25 times. 247 Sports listed Harrison as a four-star recruit, 376 nationally, and No. 6.nded another two free agent…
