Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, who broke the rookie record for assists (10) during the WNBA All-Star game, is finally getting some rest during the Olympic break, as she was not selected to be a part of Team USA’s roster.
With a non-stop schedule over the past year, spending quality time with her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, hasn’t been easy. McCaffery, who works as an assistant for the Indiana Pacers, however, appears to be going on vacation at the same time as Clark.
A former Division 1 basketball player at Iowa, McCaffery reflected on his professional career with the Pacers after summer league officially came to a close. “Year 1 in the books ” he wrote on Instagram, which garnered a comment from Clark.
A week earlier, Clark took to Instagram to celebrate McCaffery’s birthday. She captioned the post, “Happy Birthday Con! Celebrating you is easy 🙂 thankful to have someone as selfless and as loving as you in my life May this be the year you finally find a way to outshoot me 😉 Love you always
