Joan Mir and HRC have confirmed they will race together for two more seasons, adding another piece to the 2025 MotoGPTM jigsaw puzzle.
Mir signed with Repsol Honda for the 2023 season. The two-time World Champion’s notable finish from the previous year was a Sunday P5 at the Grand Prix of India.
The fact that Mir and Honda decided to extend their contract shows how much faith the rider and manufacturer have in one another as the #36 continues to support HRC’s ascent to the top of MotoGPTM.
The factory Honda team will not change in 2025 thanks to Mir’s extension; Luca Marini has already agreed to a two-year contract.
