Armando Broja has accompanied the Chelsea first team to the United States (and played the second half last night); Cesare Casadei has not. But they could possibly end up with the same fate this season: a loan to Serie A.
AC Milan is reportedly interested in signing Broja as a striker after signing Álvaro Morata to replace Olivier Giroud, who left Chelsea. The Rossoneri are huge fans of their former Chelsea players. Tammy Abraham, a former Chelsea player, has also been connected.
There’s no rewards for guessing that the “only one possible formula” for this potential agreement is a loan with a purchase option.
And obviously it would be a similar situation for Cesare Casadei.
