Angel Reese recently had a conversation with former teammate Kysre Gondrezick, who celebrated her birthday with rumored boyfriend, Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown.
Gondrezick shared several birthday posts on Instagram, one of which featured the song “Big Mama” by Latto. That particular post drew plenty of reactions, with fans mentioning that Reese must have influenced her song choice.
On X (previously Twitter), a fan wrote, “Kysre using big mama as the song on her birthday post, Angel really has contaminated her friend group w/ that song.”
After that, Gondrezick replied to the fan who had tagged the Chicago All-Star in a comment. “Lol, the effect of the Reese’s pieces,” she said.
In response to Gondrezick’s message, Reese denied crediting Brown, stating that Brown had performed a “BIG ONE” for “BIG MAMA”—a reference to the Celtics star’s unexpected gifts for Gondrezick.
Brown went all out for Gondrezick’s birthday, Reese said. “Nah cause he did his BIG ONE for BIG MAMA,” The former WNBA player shared pictures of the enormous bouquets she was given along with high-end pieces from Chanel, Prada, and Balenciaga.
Reese was thrilled for her pal and enthralled with Brown’s gesture.
When Brown and Gondrezick made their public appearance together at the 2024 ESPYs, it gave rise to dating speculations. They haven’t discussed their romance in public yet, but they’ve been spotted together a lot throughout the NBA offseason.
Considered to be one of Gondrezick’s best pals, Reese appears to be in favor of the partnership.
