The standoff between Victor Osimhen and Napoli has taken a new twist after the striker dropped the Italian club from his Instagram page.
This is coming soon after Osimhen had put in a transfer request, which Napoli sports director Giovanni Manna acknowledged.
Osimhen has been training on his own as his transfer saga has dragged.
He was not listed for the team’s first official game of the season, a Coppa Italia clash against Modena, that went into penalty shootout before Napoli eventually advanced.
In the meantime, it has been reported that Osimhen does not wish to move to the Premier League again.
