REPORT: Curva Sud delivers a supportive message before Milan vs Torino…..see more

AC Milan’s season opener is scheduled for tonight and in order to prevail, they will need the full support of the fans. That is exactly what they will get, with the Curva Sud publishing a message of clear support ahead of the game.

The pre-season was a positive one for the Rossoneri but now it’s time to show their qualities in the Serie A. Torino are the opponents and the game, which is scheduled for 20:45 CEST, will be played at San Siro in front of the home fans.

Curva Sud’s leader, Luca Lucci, published a message of support on his Instagram last night. He stated that the mercato has been a positive one, with the management living up to their words, especially since they have kept the big stars.

“The time has finally come to let the pitch do the talking, but above all the time has come to return to the stands to incessantly support and defend our beloved Milan.

“Here we go again: it’s time for Curva Sud, it’s time for Milanismo and it’s time for wherever you go I’ll follow you!

“A mercato that is not yet concluded but which, without a doubt, has followed up on the words of the management: targeted and substantial purchases and no sales of the big names. A mercato that has only one goal: to return to being protagonists!

“Is something missing? Maybe yes, we are insatiable and in love and for us perhaps something will always be missing, always!

“But now it’s up to the team and our new coach to demonstrate, play and convince to win. The pitch is sovereign and always will be!

“Let’s face this umpteenth season together,” it read.

Youssouf Fofana will also be presented to the fans at half-time, having finally arrived in Milano after long negotiations between Milan and Monaco. It’s a great signing that some believe is the final piece of the puzzle.
