Italian club agree permanent deal for Real Madrid player

One problem that Real Madrid have faced in recent years is there inability to bring through their academy standouts to the senior team. There have been many talented youngsters who have struggled to get a real chance at Santiago Bernabeu despite how well they have performed at the developmental levels. Inevitably, that has led to them leaving.

Necessity is the mother of invention. Real Madrid have come up with a formula that has allowed them to move on these youngsters while having a chance to bring those back that they want to for pre-agreed, reasonable transfer fees.

The club agree somewhat low transfer fees for these players. But they hold a 50% sell-on clause as well as a buyback option.

This strategy has served them well over the years. And now, Nico Paz is leaving the club, using the same tried-and-tested formula.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Como have agreed a deal with Real Madrid to sign Nico Paz. Los Blancos will receive a €6 million fixed fee. They will also have a 50% sell-on clause and a buy-back clause.

Como have made it up to Serie A this season and are currently managed by legendary Spanish midfielder, Cesc Fabregas. So, it looks like a decent place for Paz’s development and he has the opportunity to learn a lot.

Como have shown more ambition this summer than anybody could have expected of them. Not only have they signed Paz but also Raphael Varane. The Italian are also confident of signing Sergi Roberto as a free agent and Maxi Perrone from Manchester City.

Paz is believed to be someone that Fabregas was keen for Como to sign. He has gotten his transfer target. Now, let’s see how his development goes there. We wish him the best in this new adventure.
