Gianfranco Zola is ‘curious’ to see what Matias Soulé can do at Roma but is also eager to follow Italy and Juventus midfielder Nicolò Fagioli.
The 2024-25 Serie A season started on Monday and saw Juventus beat Como 3-0 and Roma held to a 0-0 draw by Cagliari.
In his latest interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Zola said that Soulé would be one of the most exciting new signings to watch in 2024-25.
“I am curious to see what he can do this season,” said Magic Box.
“I’ve been following him from Serie C. I really like him, and he did well last term. I am curious to see what he can do now that his club level has changed. I always follow him with interest, but he won’t be the only one.”
But there’s also another player that Zola can’t wait to see in action.
“Nicolò Fagioli, I respect him and I am eager to see him this year. I’ll follow him.”
