REPORT: Ibrahimovic a disappointment – better as…..see more

Zlatan Ibrahimovic joined RedBird and AC Milan at the end of last year and after shadowing the management for six months, he took on more responsibilities. However, so far, it has not been great for the Swede as argued by Andrea Longoni.

Ibrahimovic has been increasingly more vocal in his role, handling the press conferences for the new signings, and Gerry Cardinale has previously made it clear that the Swede is his right-hand man. With one point in two games, though, the start to the season has been tough.

On his Twitter, the pundit Andrea Longoni shared his thoughts on the situation and stated that Ibrahimovic is the biggest disappointment amidst all of this. A lot of words and little action from the former striker.

“Ibra is the biggest disappointment. He goes on with his slogans (which are already watered down). He doesn’t realise that he has exhausted the credits of his great past as a footballer already As a director, he has the experience of an intern. Better as an influencer. To date a half disaster, full of himself,” he writes.

The game against Lazio next week is now a must-win for Milan but their record against the Biancocelesti at Olimpico has not been tremendous in recent years. They won the last fixture there, but a lot has changed since.
