Just In: Inter Milan Remain Super-Favorites says the…see more

Famous Italian manager Fabio Capello sees reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan as frontrunners to win the Scudetto this season.

In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported by FCInterNews, Capello identified the Nerazzurri as ‘super-favorites’ to lift the Scudetto.

While praising Inter for their dominant league start, the 78-year-old slammed Juventus’ performance against Roma.

“Compared to the first two outings, Juventus has taken a step back. It was not the one that dominated Verona and Como, opponents of a lower level than Roma.”

With Milan going through a rough spell under new boss Paulo Fonseca, Juventus are the only viable candidates to dethrone Inter.

However, Sunday’s game against out-of-form Roma cast significant doubt on the Turin giants’ title credentials.

On the other hand, Simone Inzaghi’s men have gone from strength to strength after the opening-day draw at Genoa.

Inter followed a routine 2-0 win against Empoli with an emphatic 4-0 home victory against Atalanta.

Saturday’s showing at Giuseppe Meazza unequivocally showed they’re still at least one level above everyone else.
