New AC Milan striker Tammy Abraham recently shared his enthusiasm for joining the club and his aspirations for the future. In a press conference at his unveiling, he expressed his deep connection with Milan, stating, “I grew up with Milan. I consider it an excellent team. I’m often asked how I want to play. I’m always ready to face new challenges. I hope to achieve good results and have a positive impact. When I saw Milan was interested in me, I kept telling myself over and over that it was the place I wanted to be.”

Discussing his rapport with teammate Rafael Leao, Abraham revealed, “Immediate chemistry with Leao? There’s quite a funny story behind it. We decided before going in what to do together, and we went in and did what we wanted to do.”

Abraham also addressed his physical condition following a previous injury, assuring, “How am I physically? I feel at my best. I’m recovering from the injury, but I feel really good.”

Reflecting on an incident involving Theo Hernandez and Leao during a cooling break, Abraham explained, “What did I say to Theo and Leao during the cooling break? We all saw the scene. I was talking to them; there was adrenaline in our bodies. They stayed on the side of the field simply because there was water, and they drank there.”

Abraham made a heartfelt promise to Milan fans, saying, “What promise do I make to Milan fans? I grew up with this club, in my soul and heart, with all the trophies and players. Playing here, in this fantastic city and stadium, with such great fans, I want to contribute by giving my best. I’ll try to make the season go as well as possible.”

He also spoke about his experience with Alvaro Morata, noting, “Have I met Morata already at Chelsea? Yes, we met at Chelsea, where I developed. Morata is a leader, and being on the field with him is really nice and interesting.”

Regarding leadership within Milan, Abraham commented, “Are there leaders at Milan? I got off the plane and went to play; it takes some time to build relationships. There are great players at Milan, and there are friends.”

Abraham reflected on his departure from Roma, stating, “Did I want to leave Roma? No. I haven’t lost confidence at all, but the fans know how important Roma is to me. However, sometimes in life, you have to level up, set the bar higher, and I thought this was the right opportunity. I wish Roma the best, but now I’m focused on Milan.”

Acknowledging past challenges, he said, “Coming from two difficult years? The first year went very well with Roma, then the second was more challenging. Players are human beings, and the injury dragged me down for a while, but this opportunity at Milan is my big chance to show that I’m back. My ambition is always to win.”

Abraham outlined his goals, stating, “The goals? I’m 27 years old, and there are many choices to make. I want to score goals; many expect a lot of aerial play from me.”

Finally, on his awareness of Milan’s history, Abraham shared, “Do I know the story of Hateley? For me, it’s wonderful to be here. I hope to achieve great results. My heart is here, my head is here, and I’m a Milan fan like everyone else. I’ll do my best to become a legend like the one mentioned.”
