REPORT: Morata and Florenzi present at Milanello during…..see more

Due to having a limited squad, Paulo Fonseca has allowed his AC Milan squad some time off, but players who are recovering from injury are still present. Today, Alvaro Morata shared an image with Alessandro Florenzi at Milanello.

For Milan fans, the international break probably could not have come at a better time. It has been a difficult opening to the season – to put it nicely – and a break is probably welcomed. However, the sentiment probably would not be held by Fonseca, or at least not yet.

Arguments can be made for both sides about a break now. In some respects, it has arrived at the perfect point, the Rossoneri can revitalise themselves, whilst also offering a ‘nicer’ game to return to. Others may have preferred the international break to happen after the Venezia game, in the hopes that there would be some positivity before the break.

Of course, not all of the Diavolo’s players have departed for international duty, and those who are fit have been granted some time off. For those with injuries, though, they are recuperating at Milanello, and Morata shared an image of him and Florenzi in good spirits whilst they recover. Hopefully, he should be back for the game next weekend against Venezia, but Fonseca may have other plans.
