Sad news: Brahim Diaz to miss Real Madrid vs Milan in November due to…..see more

Brahim Diaz picked up an injury in Real Madrid’s 2-0 win against Real Madrid last night and according to a report, he should be out for at least eight weeks. As a result, he’s set to miss the game against AC Milan in November.

It was in the 24th minute of yesterday’s clash that Brahim Diaz had to leave the pitch, limping off with what looked like a muscle injury. Sure enough, as reported by Fabrizio Romano today, the attacking midfielder should be out for at least eight weeks due to a muscle injury.

As Real Madrid are scheduled to face Milan in the Champions League on November 5th, this almost certainly means that the Spaniard will miss the game. It will be played at Bernabeu and it would have been a chance for Diaz to greet the Rossoneri fans, having spent three years on loan at the club.

His absence will be a boost for Milan, as harsh as it sounds, given that Carlo Ancelotti has taken his playing to the next level (12 goals and 9 assists last season). Having said that, ‘Don Carlo’ doesn’t exactly lack high-quality players and will have no issues replacing the No.21.

For now, however, Milan are focused on doing well in their UCL opener against Liverpool on Tuesday evening.
