In a show titled Football Americas, Herculez Gomez hailed Pulisic as the best player in CONCACAF for his recent heroics.
He said: “This is the best Christian Pulisic we’ve seen. I don’t want to hear about the lockdown Pulisic. This is a new version of Pulisic. CONCACAF’s best player at the moment. He saved Paulo Fonseca’s job because that would have been seven in a row they would have lost to Inter. He saves his job. This is vintage Pulisic. He is on a tear. There’s no stopping Cristian Pulisic. When we ask him to be a leader, he leads in his own way.”
