Former Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini weighed in on the situation in the Italian capital in the aftermath of De Rossi’s dismissal.
In an interview with Adnkronos, Sabatini said, “Totti? I hope that Roma offers him an executive role in the future. It’s a role that rightfully belongs to Francesco.”
“Roma-Athletic? First half was good, while the second half less so, but the team is not yet in great physical shape. They need a few more games to get going.”
“But overall, if they don’t concede this stupid goal, it would have been a good win. The Basques are always difficult to face.”
“Dybala’s decision to stay in Rome? He’s just an added value, and that’s it. He’s a champion, maybe the only one at the moment, so the fact that he stayed will be an advantage for everyone.”
