August was a month of openers and September was a month of big games. But now, it’s October and the days are getting colder and shorter and the weight of what’s at stake is growing. And there is no exception for our Rossoneri sides, with games of different statures ahead of us, all useful for our various aims. Home and away, league and cups: here are the many dates to put into the calendar this month.

MEN’S FIRST TEAM

It will be in at the deep end for Coach Fonseca’s lads who kick off the month with their first away game in the Champions League. Leverkusen will be the first of three difficult away fixtures, in an October that closes out with another big midweek game, this time in the league against Antonio Conte’s Napoli.

  • Matchday 8, AC Milan v Udinese, Saturday 19 October at 18:00 CEST (DAZN) – San Siro – TICKETS
  • Matchday 9, Bologna v AC Milan, Saturday 26 October at 18:00 CET (DAZN) – Stadio Renato Dall’Ara
  • Matchday 10, AC Milan v Napoli, Tuesday 29 October at 20:45 (DAZN) – San Siro

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

  • Matchday 3, AC Milan v Club Brugge, Tuesday 22 October at 18:45 CEST (Sky/NOW) – San Siro – TICKETS

The first –  historic – season for the young Rossoneri coached by Bonera continues at full speed. The five games in October will mark the end of the first quarter of the season. At their new home ground in Solbiate Arno, the Rossoneri will face three new opponents; away, on the other hand, they will play experienced sides from the league. Five big games, five chances for growth for Zeroli and his teammates.

SERIE C

  • Matchday 8, Milan Futuro v Pianese, Saturday 5 October at 15:00 CEST (Sky/NOW) – Stadio Chinetti, Solbiate Arno (VA)
  • Matchday 9, Pescara v Milan Futuro, Saturday 12 October at 15:00 CEST (Sky/NOW) – Stadio Adriatico

  • Matchday 12, Milan Futuro v Pineto, Wednesday 30 October at 18:30 CET (Sky/NOW) – Stadio Chinetti, Solbiate Arno (VA)

Three games in October for Suzanne Bakker’s Rossonere who, after closing out September with a win over Lazio,  will have to key Sunday clashes in a row on the hunt for points and better morale. Also as the last game of the month, ahead of the international break, will be away to the current reigning champions of Italy.
