Several members of the Inter Curva have been arrested, as well as some from the Rossoneri. The two clubs are currently involved as victims but will have to demonstrate, after the lawyers had their first discussions with Prosecutor Viola yesterday, that they have no ties to the Curvas and are cooperating against them. The biggest risk would be administration, or controlled management.
Nicola Giannetti, an accountant, discussed this with Tuttosport: he followed the Foggia case in 2018, the only club in Italy to have ever received such treatment. Here are his words, as relayed via Milannews.it:
“Will there be a takeover? In my opinion, no. Apart from the fact that I read that the clubs have been defined as ‘injured parties’ in what happened, I believe that administration could only occur if responsibilities are found at the top levels of the club, concerning the issue of the organizational model. In Foggia, the issue was essentially directly related to the club, whereas the current context of Inter and Milan is different and reminds me more of what happened years ago with similar problems at Juventus.”
