La Gazzetta dello Sport, in this morning’s print edition, spoke again about Christian Pulisic who returns early to Milanello from international duty with the USMNT. But, there is also talk about Samuel Chukwueze’s injury.

The AC Milan boss can be happy about Christian Pulisic’s early return from international duty, but unfortunately, there are reports of a muscle injury to Samuel Chukwueze.

Pulisic was supposed to play another friendly against Mexico, but the new U.S. coach, Mauricio Pochettino, has decided to exempt him from this match, so the American forward will return to Milan a few days earlier than expected.

From Nigeria, however, comes bad news about Chukwueze, who sustained a muscle injury towards the end of the match against Libya.

The player is expected in Milan in the coming hours, where he will undergo examinations to assess the extent of the problem and the recovery timeline.
