UNDER 15: PLENTY OF CHANGES BUT THE SAME OBJECTIVES

A new season and new beginnings for our Under-15 side. After last season’s fine run under Coach Bertuzzo, which ended in a Scudetto semi-final defeat to Genoa, 2024/25 has kicked off with new faces but the same objectives, namely to grow and maintain a high level of competitiveness. The new coach of the group is Lorenzo Cresta, who was born in 1980 and has been a technical staff member within our Youth Sector for several years now. And his team have started the new season in style.

Starting from 14 September, when they kicked off their campaign, our lads, who compete in Group B, have come away with a 100% win rate. The Rossoneri started the season with 3-1 wins over Venezia (at home) and then Cittadella (away). A 5-0 home success over Südtirol followed, and, last time out, they defeated Cagliari in Assemini. Results-wise, the players can’t be faulted, then, as they prepare for their next game, which will see them face Cremonese at home.

As we’ve already mentioned, leading the side this season is Lorenzo Cresta, who has gained a lot of experience through his work for our Youth Sector and Milan Academy, for which he was the Technical Supervisor in Italy and abroad, as well as the Technical Director of Milan Junior Camp and AC Milan Experience. Last season, he was the assistant coach of the Under-16s, who, under Simone Baldo, narrowly missed out on the title after losing to Atalanta in the Scudetto final.

He’d previously performed the same role with the U14s (2022/23) and with the U16s when Ignazio Abate was at the helm (2021/22). He’s now returned to the U15 setup after being part of the staff at that level in 2019/20 and 2020/21. For him, just like the entire group, it’s the start of a new and exciting adventure, and the hope is a lot can be achieved together.
